We have been super busy! It has been a while since I have updated this blog. I really wish I
was better at it. It is so nice to have memories written down.
We have had a little getaway that was really nice. We needed to get to town for some over due appointments and family time. The kids had dental appointments and Justin and I had eye exams. None of the kids had cavities! We also went to the zoo and aquarium. In all it was a great trip.

We have been busy with school lately! Josiah is almost half way through second grade, and Jada is well into first grade. They are both doing very well. Some days are harder than others, but such is life.
Juliet is eager to start school with Josiah and Jada so she gets to work on preschool stuff while they work on their school work. She is such a sweet girl.
Jameson is all over the place! I know every mom thinks she has the smartest, cutest, best child, but I really do feel like Jameson has a higher IQ. I know others that know him feel the same. I would like to get him tested when he gets a bit older.
Jackson is growing so fast. It seems he is growing quicker than the others did. He should be walking with in the month. He is cruising all over and is able to stand on his own. He has two bottom teeth coming in which are proving to be rather painful for him. He is still a very happy pleasant baby!

Overdue update

We started school back up a few weeks ago. Josiah is in second grade and I am slowly started starting Jada in first grade.
I have moved everybody into one room while we do school work. Everybody sits at the dinning room table during school. It takes us all morning with breaks to get through the core subjects. It's going well so far.
Juliet had her fourth birthday! She is just the sweetest little girl. She decided on a Dora and Diego cake. We opened presents, had cake, and played some games. She told Justin, "Even when I get bigger, I will still be your Tiny Little." So sweet.

The kids have been helping me with the garden this year. The like o help cut the ends off the beans. They all get scissors and cut away. It's actually very helpful.
We have been having a great summer!

Family Time

I love summer time. I love spending time together. Here are summer summer time photos.

She Loves Her Brother

Jada loves Jackson. She has learned that she is strong enough to carry him, which freaks me out every time I catch her carrying him around. She's the first one to volunteer to play with Jackson when I need someone to keep him entertained. She talks to him in a super high pitched voice that kills me. It really sweet.

Josiah vs The Tooth Fairy

Josiah last two teeth this week! A top tooth and a bottom tooth.
I took this picture when he lost his top tooth. The next day he lost one of his lower teeth, which is good because it was getting crowded. This makes a total of four teeth.

Jada vs the Chair

Last weekend Jada was running and ran right into a chair. It was a hard hit. I think it's her first black eye. I'm not sure what it is about her, but she is always the one to get hurt. I think it's because she is our craziest, wildest child. She is tough though!

Juliet vs the Stye

Poor Juliet got her first Stye. It's finally started to drain, but there for a while it looked awful. She didn't start complained about it until after it started draining. She's a trooper. It's looking so much better now.

Happy Father’s Day to the BEST Dad!!!

We have recovered from the flu! We have been enjoying family, friends, trips to the lake, walks, bug catching, a new puppy, and lots of outside time this summer.

Justin's Grandma and her husband came to visit. The kids had a blast with them. The kids were sad to see them go. We've been to the lake a few time. The kids got to go fishing the second time we went. They had a great I've. Hopefully they will be able to catch a fish this year. We also had a wonderful Independance Day. The kids loved the sparklers. Even Jameson loved them. We got together with Justin's parent and had an early dinner. After dinner, we set off some fire works. The kids loved watching them. It was our favorite Fourth of July together since we've been married.
Now we are enjoying all the rain.

Where is Jameson

Juliet can fish like nobody's business. She is quiet, patient, and doesn't move around.

Everybody VS The Flu

Last Saturday Josiah, Jada, Juliet and I started feeling sick. The next day the four of us were really sick. We had fevers, body aches, cough and congestion. It was miserable. Monday Justin had to go to work. It was a long day. The three older kids had high fevers I was trying to keep down, while taking care of an infant, while feeling absolutely awful myself. Jameson was still feeling ok so I sent him over to Grammy's. By Thursday Justin and Jameson came down with it.
Thursday just so happened to be Josiah's birthday. It did not go as I planned. We were all still feeling yucky. Grammy made his cake for him and cooked tacos for us. Even though he didn't feel good, the night before his birthday he found a specific shirt and pants he wanted to wear. He washed and dried them, and as soon as he woke up the next morning, he put them on. It was so sweet.
Here we are a whole week later. The kids and I are feeling a lot better. We do have a lingering cough. Justin is still down. Baby Jackson has stayed healthy this whole time. I have to credit that to breastfeeding.
7 Years old!
